Hello all. All my snow has gone and I'm back online briefly. Looks like people have been out and about, having a good time. Fingers crossed for some fresh air and snow again soon.

Flaff and Mike eh? Who knew....

Got very very drunk last night in Keswick, dance floor in "The Loft" was spared though due to a bad leg and being totally knackered!

So shelved plans for doing a BiggE!  So Today it was a day of  lots of  Cakes and Coffee along with gear shopping!

Ended up having a wander up Helm Crag!  Tonnes of snow and even sunshine followed by half of bitter (yes only half.) in the Travellers Rest!  Proper loved it, best day out this year!

Thinking about getting a Pipe and starting up smoking!, i really needed a Pipe and Cloth Cap today!  Rock n Roll!

Love it! Love it!

Finished the day by a slow drive back down the M6 to Nottingham! with Mr Ian Brown providing the soundtrack!

You could start a thread with the question

" What makes you feel like that ? "

Yeah, I loved that one too   Coire the searchdog really enjoyed our walk out on the Beacons yesterday, she must have covered about 3 times as much ground as we did, loved rolling in the snow, kept tugging up bits of heather and grass through the snow for us to chuck for her, and came down with her whiskers coverd in ice and fur matted with snow

3 things went right and that constitutes a good day? What happens when everything goes right?!

Sometimes I'm just trying to do never ending things a lot of the time, the Back boiler should be getting closer ( may be here by the end of the week ) and I got the Pogu Microspikes, If its clear I could go back to where I was last time when walking and see if I can get any further ( as its higher I'm not sure how the mild spell over the last few days will have had an effect ).

Evening Maria, I have the house with Walk Highlands and have looked at their site a few times, not sure about getting a path off it though.

Just thought the link may be of interest, I have hats I like and various socks and like yourself dont want to spend loads of money.

When the weathers fine I find there are so many things I can do ( didnt get to paint the outside of the house last year due to the rain all the time )

edit, nice and sunny all afternoon here today, calm and dry, nearly full moon tonight and as its calm should be clear tomorrow.
