AR I remember writing a letter by moonlight once in a very clear night. The right sort of weather and a good moon make for a wonderful experience.

It's getting cold again though, certainly down here, so things should start icing up again

Just been walking the dug and it's quite mild out, still slushy, no frost yet. Odd sort of weather - neither fish nor fowl (nor, even, foul).

Boing

Very good Skip .

GB, I can remember ferreting rabbits by moonlight, nearly like daylight once you get used to it.

edit, Maria, Idont see you making comments on fb photos .

another edit, have just heard a weatherman say the cold spell could last till the end of the month

Let's just hope your boiler arrives pdq then, Alexander!

Pity it's not a full moon at the weekend. Clear skies, crisp snow, would be perfect.

Morning, calm.

Brr, it's a bit chilly outside, 3C with a 17mph breeze, clear view though.

Edit  frost over night, still cold but calmish with wind dropping, it has to be colder at a height but if there was a breeze it would cut you in half, was going to dig a bit in garden but its cold on the hands < gloves on >.

How do you know it's a 17mph breeze rather than 20?! Is your weather station up and running now?

Morning all, it's grey here but not particularly cold, though forecast to get colder again. Nothing much happening today, but hope to get to the spinning class at the gym later.

Weather station going , gives windspeed and temp < and more > but cant work out how to get it to read C instead of F, so have to change the temp in a converter website for metric/imperial.

Think I'll sort more reciepts as it's dam cold in garden .

Hows the cranes Kate ? < goes to take boots off >

Miserable weather today - very dreary, misty, and with a penetrating dampness.

Have plenty of work to do so not too bothered about staying indoors.

There's probably an option in the Settings menu that'll give you the choice between C and F on the temperature. That is, if there is a Settings menu!

Working at home today so can't see the cranes. I may have to go into work tomorrow in which case I'll give you an update, but last week they were already up to the 2nd floor with the outside walls.
