If anyone arrives after 8pm go to the Barn End Bar to sign in, and get directions to our 1/3 of the site.

Food times at the Sykeside Inn are 6pm - 9pm both nights, with meals available from the Barn End Bar same times on Saturday night.

*****IMPORTANT NOTICE*****

It is VITAL that when you arrive and sign in you tell them that you are with OutdoorsMagic.

The site is only licensed for 100 tents, so have now refused to accept any further bookings from other people to allow room for us. I've had to guarantee that we will have at least 30 tents, as obviously they don't want to lose out by turning others away. So I really need people to let them know if you're from OM.

Good luck with the auction everyone. But please can everyone take care when they are driving along that road. There are a lot of badger cubs about up there at the moment and they have absolutely no road sense. I speak from experience!

Hope you all have a great time - will be thinking of you all carousing and enjoying yourselves - as I (if I get that far) stagger across Helvellyn in the gloaming, on the last leg of the 3000s, sometime on Saturday evening.

If anyone hears a ghostly voice moaning at you to keep the noise down it's because I've given up and I'm trying to get some sleep in the summit shelter.
