Those nice fellas over at Alpkit have added a new down jacket to their portfolio of high-performing but affordable gear, available now in any colour just as long as it's black :-)

I got one for Xmas too. Love it!

I doubt very much I'll ever wear it in the hills in this country, but for car camping, low level walks, going into town/supermarket/down the pub, it's a superb jacket. For 60 squid it's a bargain!!

Like others, not too sure about the girlie zip, but hey, who gives a ....! ;)

As someone mentioned above, nice detail with the "anti - fabric-catching zip strip thingy" they have built into the design....

And the fleece collar is the nicest thing I've had wrapped round my face/neck/ears in a long time! LOL!! ;o)

Great jacket! Problem is..., they're getting SOOOO popular now you can't go on an OM Meet any more coz we're all wearing the same thing!!!! ;) C'mon Alpkit, lets have a few more colours!!!

Well I think I might be purchasing one, as I had a bit of cash for Chrimbo, just the thing for keeping warm and seems to be the muts nuts!
