Anyone heard of the one man version ???

Still got mine, not used it for a while but its still in good nick.

Ive had it over 20 years and bought it from a military surplus place so I dont know exactly how old it is.

Bought four of them for about 15 quid and made a complete good tent and then used one of the flysheets to make an extension. Had to buy some  decent pegs though.

Never had a problem with it, brilliant bit of kit.

going to be using mine soon this summer as a basecamp tent in a campsite, still an excellent tent that will be going strong for many years to come.

can these tents be beaten as a base camp tent?

F10s are indeed an iconic tent, thats done the biz for decades. I well remember putting one up on GT Langdale campsite in the pouring rain for my girlfriend and her friend, that was 15 yrs ago. Although she says she hates camping, my now wife still fondly recalls that evening of chivalry...

As far as geos are concerned, the Quasar is also an iconic tent. I remember lusting after one over 20 ys ago,. Had a SQ until quite recently, but am now looking out for a Ultra Quasar (lighter)

Both stonking tents.

I think there will be good reviews of the helium (in comparison with the Akto ) in a few years time. (not trying to provoke debate, just my opinion.)
