I just spotted this as well, ah memories 

All the boots I mentioned above have long gone on ebay. I loved the KSB Summits, but my feet were slimming down and they ended up not fitting any more. This makes me wonder how folk can keep one pair of boots for years, surely everybody's foot shape changes as time goes by?

I've cutting about the house in a new pair of boots with a view to taking hem out. Montrail Torre GTX's they are. I widnae want to be predictable

Just got back from a day out on Kinder Scout.Only about the 4th time I've used them but they seem to be comfortable.Will only use them for winter walks as I have several much lighter pairs of boots for the Summer.Disappointed to find that one of the lace hooks has broken in half.(Never happened with any of my other boots)
