Most other types only filter fine particles and Bacteria and then require iodine or chlorine tabs to purify the filtered water against Viruses.
Boiling works best but isn't always convenient when travelling fast "n" light.
Lets be honest, Water has to be the heaviest item to carry around all day so a regular fast stream refil has to be worthwhile.
Apparently, this model has been tested and approved by the London College of Tropical Medicine or something like that...

If you've got one of these then let me know what you think of it. They're around £70 ...
