Hi, does anyone know of any helmet manufacturers who make extra large helmets. All the ones that I have found in the shops perch on the top of my head and any protection offered feels more psychological than actual.

HB make a Carbon Dyneema helmet in medium and large. A quick google didn't show any from the usual suspect but a bit of a dig might help.

HB went out of business last year and all the Carbon Dyneema helmets are long since sold.

But a helpful chap in the climbing dept. at Outside told me that the designs have been bought up and will be reappearing sometime this year under the brand name Point Five (or Point5 maybe, definitely something like that...)

Some come in 2 sizes.

For bargain hunters - Cairngorm Mountain Sports, Aviemore have some good ones for £10 (were £50 think they might be Petzl...) in odd sizes - might be worth a call.
