I'm slightly puzzled... What's the difference between the Deuter & the Source version...??? Or are they actually the same (same factory) just sold by different companies.

i agree, my source resevoir is great, much better than my old camelback thing, its easier to clean, lighter and the roll top opening is a lot easier to fill. never going back to camelback

Tried loads, Source is best I've tried. Strong, no taste, and no probs with cold weather making them brittle. In fact, I clean them after a trip then put them, empty, into the freezer ready to fill next time. That way there's no last minute cleaning frenzy.

I mostly use the Source bladder with the roll-over top, the three-litre version, but if you can afford to, fit the Camlebak bite valve with the ergo lock thing which is much better than the standard Source bite valve in my experience.

Source don't taint badly when used with energy drinks, are simple to fill, clean, open and close and seem pretty tough as well. Best thing for cleaning the tube is a tube-specific cleaning brush btw.

I got one - well, it's a two liter because so I can take another bottle as well like e.g. a thermos flask.
I had a test run yesterday, which was perfectly fine. The main test comes will be the next 4 days in the outdoors...
Thanks again!!!
