Looking at the ME website, I can spot the following differences:

Kongur: Superb longer cut provides exceptional protection whilst not compromising freedom of movement.
Ogre: Superb active cut provides exceptional freedom of movement.

Kongur: 2 external map pockets hidden behind laminated pocket flaps allows access to stored items without opening up the jacket to the elements.
Ogre: 1 external map pocket with covered zip entry and fully taped pocket bag allows access to stored items without opening up the jacket to the elements. Also features an internal zipped mesh pocket and mesh mobile phone pocket.

Kongur: Drawcords at waist and hem are tethered and concealed. The waist is pulled in by a half drawcord and gives the jacket a clean front.
Ogre: Drawcords at waist and hem are tethered and concealed.

Kongur: 710g
Ogre: 600g

Is that it? Has anyone here looked at/used them both? What were your impressions? Which would you choose, given that on the Internet there's only really £10 difference between the two?

PS. Happy Easter!

I have the Kongur and add to your list Pit Zips. My Kongur has pits zips were I think the Ogre does not.

Its a really good jacket but I wish I had tried an eVent Jacket before buying so I could have a comparison. Other than that it is an excellent jacket of which my favourite features are the longer cut and the hood.

I bought a Berghaus equivalent product (£220 in a sale) and after 3 hours in Lake District rain I was wet. Swapped the jacket on the same day for the ME Ogre and enjoyed a confident and dry holiday walking on hill tops in sideways rain - no problems and no competition.

I bought the Ogre 12 months ago and to be honest cant see me using 'anything' else!

I've had an Ogre for 3 years now. Brilliantly designed, extremely user-friendly jacket.

Best jacket I've had by a country mile, and the next one will be an Ogre too, if ME are still making them when it eventually wears out.

I bought the konger jacket  (260 pounds), it kept the rain out but by eck' it didn't let moisture out, was soaked wet through within a couple of hours.

Replaced it with a paramo velez (145 pounds) and the kongur's nowhere near as good as the velez in every way.
