I'm just looking for a new silk liner and I seem to remember seeing people mention a New Zealand company that makes good cheap liners, but I can't find the thread....?

Does anyone have the company's info?

I think this is what you are seeking:

My jagbag liner arrived this morning, one week after ordering. Very impressed.

I'm guessing those are the ones! I can't imagine there are too many NZ companies selling silk sleeping bag liners?

Do people tend to go for mummy shaped liners, or just plain rectangular?

If you can wait Lidl/Aldi occasionally have silk sleeping bag liners for around £10.

There isn't a Lidl/Aldi in Royal Tunbridge Wells!! ;o)

Mummy-shaped. Otherwise lots of crinkly bits.

Are JagBags the best?

"Are JagBags the best?"

Not sure. I'd used a Rab silk liner for years (may even have been made by JagBags?). But when I came to get a new one they'd got a bit bigger and heavier.

Then I found some in Snow and Rock - made in the UK by Lemon Tree - absolutely excellent, mummy shaped with a well shaped hood, in black, weighing 70g (lighter than the Rab I was replacing) and packs not much bigger than a golf ball (well ok, maybe 2 golf balls then!). I think it was about £40 before BMC discount. Well worth it if you can locate one, I'd say.

Jag bags mummy liner is about £20 delivered and looks fine (I haven't used it yet). Not sure what paying twice the price would achieve, maybe more longevity ?

I ordered two JagBags last night so hopefully they should be with me sometime next week?

I second Matt's views on the Lemon Tree liners. Very light and good.
