Just spotted the Terra Nova Chopsticks for sale on GearZone.co.uk (chopsticks).
Would that just be the ultimate sad gear freak thing to do or what??

I think i need help if i buy these! Still, it's an excuse to get a chinese takeaway while mild camping.

I thought that when i first saw em...

Can use to eat, and as emergency tent pegs, probably. Not much use for soup i'm told.

20g? Surely there must be a lighter titanium version.

There is - it's called a spork!

If you sharpened the ends you could use them as knitting needles.

wouldn't a pair of wooden chopsticks be the lightweight version?
Show/hide user stats
TDave, surely they're hollow so you can suck the soup up like a straw.
Dave, I reckon that now there selling the tents with titanium pegs there getting rid of the old carbon ones as Chopsticks!

chopsticks.....

other uses?

tent pegs
internal emergency pole repairer
drum sticks
knitting needles (kate you need more mountain time!)
Straw for soup etc (if hollow)
Tent poles for actin man F10 classic (oops i've said too much again)
finger/wrist splint
frame for emergency distress kite
alternitives to pencils up the nose and the words "wibble" etc ( see blackadder goes forth)
tracheoptermy tool ( excuse spelling )
hair/hat pin

well with such a variety of uses i have just gotta get some........Not!!

think i'll stick with my spork, or use two tent pegs if i take a sweet and sour chicken camping!!

Cocktail swizzle stick for those who just have to.

If they're the old carbon pegs, then they'd double as crossbow bolts. Lethal little points on em, easily pierce the tent, already out of the bag. I've got the pro action tentpegs with mine, as i bought more pegs (titanium i though), and what were they?

More little bleeding crossbow bolts! aarggghh!

Wooden ones would be lighter, but... do they close down into a neat little plastic box (that probably weighs 40g)?!

Plus you can put the sigg bottles and pots and pans out in your porch and you've got a lightweight drumkit.
