Just back from Carn an Fhidlier and An Sgarsoch with the Gregory Z pack. Good and bad report IMHO.
Good - worked well with both overnight pack and a daypack when I left the tent at Geldie.
- love the big netted bucket pocket. Useful for wateproofs and sig and mapcase.
Bad - even though I'd made my own strap-ties (double sided velcro) and marked the tension straps with day-glo tape, some still came loose and almost took my eye out in the wind.
- Had to feed the hydration tube out of the side access zip, as my plan of putting tube out top of pack fell through when loaded with camping gear.
Overall. Good, but straps really started to annoy me (mentally and physically). Mainly due to paying 120 quid for the pack and the designers hadn't bothered to find a way to secure them.
