Want good waterproof over-trousers, will pay up to £40 or so, need to able to get on over boots.

S&R have the Precips reduced but I can't help thinking that I should hold out for the full zip version, which you cannot get for less than fifty nicker at the moment.

Anyone know of any other good ones in this price range at the moment?

Thanks ............. Simon.

Montane Air Event Pant was £140 now £50 from the montane factory shop...give them a ring they take orders over the phone....they also had some seconds in stock at slightly cheaper prices.

Andy

Sounds like the Montane ones could be good, but otherwise I can recommend Berghaus Deluges. Full double leg zips, elasticated waist plus drawcord in Aquafoil fabric. £35 at Go Outdoors and other places.
