Does anyone have one of these? I'm interested in getting one but would like to know if it's possible to fold it in half length-ways before rolling it to make a more packable - like a Thermarest Prolite.
Thanks

Yes it is. I have two of them and think they are superb for the price.

Yes, I have. I think someone from Alpkit answered a similar question on UKC a while ago and said yes you could fold them.

May as well post, but i agree with what's been said above.

I've been folding mine in half and rolling it. It is just possible to then get it into the stuffsac it came with, but only just (a lot of squeezing is needed. I've ripped my stuffsac now, but i've been using the mat as back padding in my rucsac recently anyway.

Has the Wee Airik got a none slip surface. I'm using a mat with a very smooth shiny surface and end up in-tent sledging every night

I agree you can fold it half length ways . The surface is not shiny and tends not to slip.

Just had my expedition down mat delivered. A real revelation. Can't wait to try it out in earnest. £60 just about broke the bank though.

Ive got a slim airic and think its fantastic apprently the new ones they just got back in stock are a different material, making them lighter and more grippy

Personally, I fold mine down to a quarter the full size and use it as a base for my ruck sack. takes far less space that way :)

I fold mine in half length-ways before rolling it without any problems. Have found it to be a little slippy but it's an old version.
