Ben - have you thought of getting the gas conversion kit for your Trangia? You end up with a still quite heavy, but very fast, very stable, very effective cooker. It's so stable you can pick it up while its cooking and move it about, stir without using pan-holders, use it on rough ground without worrying it will tip, and the windshielding is superb. If you leave out the frying pan and mebbe the kettle or one of the pots, you can save some weight. It's snowing up here now - meths will take forever! I've a pocket rocket type stove too, which has obvious weight advantages and I use my Trangia pans with it, but you lose a lot in stability and safety.
