Just looking at getting a decent pair of winter and serious wet weather trousers and looking at Berghaus Accelerator trousers. Can anyone give a review of these? Tried them on in the shop and even though I'm not a big guy, the medium are really tight and worried about getting Large as might be too long in leg etc... Any other recommended winter/ wet weather trousers?

HI STEVEN
Have you had a look at the "Berghaus Men's Paclite Alpine Pro Pant",cheaper than the ones you are looking at and with all the same features,I have a pair just for mountain walking even tho they are for climbing and must say great all rounder, the fit i was told was bigger than i was to expect for the climbers out there, but they were perfect, the features are great full length zips with double storm flap, wich took me all of 30 seconds to put on while up scafell pike at 3.30 in the morning while on the national 3 peaks when the heavens opened.they have a high back for when im scrambling so no wet back.
they also have a zip fly not many pants do,easy pull cord adjust for fit around waist, braces well not really necessary for me but they an extra, easy on and of with them to.plus they are of the EXTREM series so they are light tough and look really well too...
have a look at a pair try em on the fit might just be that bit different maybe not...
good luck...
ps..come in there own small packaway pouch for easy and minimum space wasting...
