I bought and used my Grivel Munro last year and used it for a winter trip in the cairngorms, I'm sure your'e aware that it is basically a walking/treking axe and wouldn't be suitable for any hardcore ice climbing.
I found mine to be solid and reliable,all you'd expect from a quality brand such as Grivel.
The price is excellent too, your getting a good piece of kit for not a great deal of wedge, if your looking for a good winter walking axe you can't go far wrong with the munro.
One thing is choosing the correct size, I think there are 3 lengths in the munro, obviously this correlates with how tall you are, I think the test to check correct height is to hold the axe down by your side and the tip should be about 3" from the ground.
