 Hi,
I am after some good waterproof trousers that are easy to get on off over boots.
Eg. Marmot Precip (full length zips) - but I can't find these under £50 anywhere.
Any good suggestions appreciated!
Thanks .... Simon

Berghaus Deluge. £40, full length zips. I've been using mine for 4 years now and will probably buy another pair when these ones die. Nice straight cut, go on easily over boots and other layers. 2 zip-pulls so they can be opened from the top to allow venting.

Montane Airs may be £40. I can't remember....

Thanks Jethro - I have emailed them.

Does anyone else think it's weird that the Berghaus womens Deluge only come in a 31 inch length no matter what size you order? Di

Maybe you have to vary the size of your heels to suit?
:-)

I echo simonx's suggestion. I and Jo have a pair (each) and they work fine for the use they get.

Clearly all women in the Berghaus world are the same height, some of them just have bigger ar$e$!

.jpg) Managed to get some 29 inch deluge from Wildtrek last year for Susan, still to big though . They are very good ,nikwax them and they are nearly as good as proper ones for half the price.
|
 |
I have some cheap ones which are a bit leaky but a better length. Which is the Nikwax product I need?
|
 |
.jpg) probaly TX Direct (wash-in) . Grangers also do a version although I am yet to try it, it as better reviews than Nikwax, but you can get free samples from the nikwax on the web.
