I'm considering the Paramo Mountain Shirt, can anybody give me any feedback or their experiences? Or, alternatives?

I use the fleece pullover made of the same stuff and it works fine, a bit more flexable than normal fleece, as it is reversable. Not sure if the cool side works as since I've had it I've never been anywhere warm enough to reverse it and find out!

Thanks for your response. Are there any others who can help or offer an alternative.

I'm looking for a garment that is multifunctional and can be used for various applications but primarily as a baselayer in cold weather and on it's own when it's warmer.

Actually "it does what it says on the can" i.e., the cool side keeps you cool and the fleece side is very warm and comfortable.

Having said that it's the only bit of Paramo kit I have ever been disapointed with, because after just one days wear I stink like a pole cat! Which had not been such a problem with my previous base layer.

This meant that I was washing it out very frequently on the C2C in May as I was sharing a tent with my beautiful young wife!
