Dry? I think know the drift. There is a type of outdoors trip I do which involves a folding bike, 1-man tent and a 10L load-carrying rear pannier. Being able to carry very few clothes and they last a few days without wash, given I may be sat on a train at the end....
The issues with the above type of journey are you can't peel off layers to get cooler, you also can't carry much spare layers, and you absolutely need to keep spares baselayers to minimum, and room to dry washed items is at the whim of the weather. Such a trip is done in warmer months due to a small sleeping bag. Paramo reversible layers are part of the solution as you'd be active in one direction, inactive in other direction. I'm interested in how cool this compact arrangement can be extended into. I do have a 4-season setup with 2-man tent and a 4-season down sleeping bag but that's "huge" in comparison.
Said combination may be spotted usually at Langdales or Braithwaite, but also been at Glenridding (cycling over Kirkstone) and that weird Limefitt site (with the "paddock"). This time of year, it's usually only Langdale or Braithwaite as they're open all year.
