Hi there,could anyone tell me if this would be a suitable jacket for working outdoors in,i work at height(rope access/scaffolding)and am fed up the clothing my firm provide me!!Would this do the job or would another peice of kit be more suitable?Thank's alot :-)

i wear this jacket in the winter for my job (landscape gardener) and they are great. Very warm(even when wet) and very windproof......only complaint is they can get too hot when you are active.

If you have a strenuous job, you will likely find the Special 6 too hot, even with the vents open. I've had one for years, they seem to be indestructible with normal use. As far as keeping you warm when wet, I agree to a point as long as you remain active. Depending on ambient temp and wind chill, I have become very cold on a few occasions whilst wearing mine wet. Great for pulling on for instant warmth and windproofing, though.
