Eh? Why not? Are they crap or summat?

Experience has given me doubts about a lot of the most recent KSBs, The Skyes might be the best of the bunch though, and if they're a good fit that's the most important thing.
I wore KSBs for years but had to go to other brands after the quality and fit became a bit random in recent times.

What about Brashers then? I have a feeling I'm going to have to get something from Milletts...

Same company makes and/or designs Brasher, Karrimor, Rohan footwear I'm led to believe.
Fit is the most important thing, don't let me put you off with my case of sour grapes :o)

Oh well, we'll see what happens over the next few months with my new pair, then. I can always take them back again, upgrading a few quid each time. Eventually I should end up with a top of the range pair!

Hi, Hope you don't mind me joining in on this. Today I bought a new pair of exmoors, so the earlier mixed comments don't instill confidence. I suppose it bols down to how well each individual pair are. Incidently mine area replacement pair for a pair of Merrell Chameleon which I bought in January. I wore them about 10 times and they leaked like a sieve. The top just below the tongue would wet out straight after a fresh application of proofer.
