Im planning on picking up a duffle/cargo bag around the 90l mark. Cotswold are selling a Saloman 95l bag at £35 and CCC Outdoors have a Gelert 90l at £20. I have obviously heard of both makes but not used either in the field so was wanting to hear from people who have as to which they would recommend?
Cheers

Salomon are generally a "better" make. They tend to use stronger/lighter/more expensive materials and are of a better build quality.

BUT,

Looking at the two items you have picked out...
I recently bought a Field and Trek "Stormlite" branded bag, very similar to that style and have found it absolutely fine. For packing up and throwing in the car it's great- strong, weatherproof and easier to pack than a rucksac, plus it fits better in a car boot. Id say, as long as you dont intend to use the bag as a rucsac for more than 2 miles of walking, the cheaper option is perfectly fine.

Cheers for getting back to me, I appreciate the help.

Myself and several friends have got the gelert bag, and between us have used them for trips all over the UK and abroad. So far they've been spot on. I'd say save £15 and get the gelert.

If the Lada is just sat in a garage anyway full of sweaty kit, go with the Lada! But if you want something flashy or tooled up for hardcore work, the Saloman is your man...I'm gonna scout out for other 90L duffles on other sites but think the Gelert is the way to go.
