Does anyone know of any men's rock climbing shoes that are a broad-ish fitting, make, particular model? currently using La sportivo blue cliffs, but want to move on to multi pitch climbing this year (only been top roping so far), so going to be wearing longer and after a bit of comfort if possible.

Try Boreal Jokers.
I have wide feet and am on my 3rd pair of Jokers. They are extremely comfy and I've worn them for many hours at a time. They are rated somewhere as comfiest shoes around (with the usual proviso that they are OK for your foot shape).

Having said that, I really would try on all sorts. I wanted some more technical shoes for single pitch grit routes, and was thinking of Anasazi velcros (fast to get on and off, wide foot, and the lace ups have a reputation for being narrow). However, it was the lace up Anasazis that fit my feet better, despite the reputation.

If you go to a good shop (would recommend Rock and Run in Ambleside or V12 in Llanberis) adn talk to the staff about what grade you climb on what rock, they can often look at your feet and tell you what may suit. The guy in Rock and Run did that for me - I told him grades and styles, showed him my feet, and he said "you want jokers". And he was right :)

Scarpa Vantage are pretty good. fairly stiff [long lasting ] supportive sole

see if they suit your feet, in common with all rock shoes....

or consider some shoes with cushioned heels. plenty about & if you're not looking for super technical shoes, you can be a bit more relaxed about fit [?!]

I've got a broad forefoot and a narrow heel, and my most comfortable boots were 5.10s, and I would have recommended them except for the fact that when I bought a new pair they nearly crippled me. So, as the advice goes, get out out there and try 'em all on

I believe it has been discontinued - OutdoorKit stock the entire available Montane range and they don't have it.

Just checking, Julia.

I'm sure you'll manage a post one of these days that doesn't promote your shop!
