Does anybody have any experience of Baby slings?
Any good for serious walking?
How many hours can you walk with baby?

ive got a new 1 arriving in may (baby that is) ive been given a baby bjorn carrier which looks the business for short jaunts. a trigonometry degree helps to put it on tho!
We had something from Mothercare like that baby bjorn thing but it was a bit cheaper - pretty good really and not bad at all for short jaunts.

we used a baby bjorn for the first six months and then switched to a macpac child carrier.
you can walk for as long as you and the child are comfortable but i would practise to building upto long walks.
a good advantage with the front slings is you can put them under your coat and zip them upinside if its a bit inclement.

Ah, I see, baby transporters. When I saw the title, Baby slings I though, what, has someone come up with a new sport, slinging babies.
