Lightweight daypack recommendations?

Hullo, I'm new here.
I've got an Osprey Atmos 35, love it almost to death, but it's heavier than I need for a summer daypack. I've been comparing the Gregory Iso and OMM/Kimmlite 25l online (we're in flatland, so it's hard to find a stockist locally). Any thoughts on relative suitability for a 5'4" female with, er, noticeable bust? I've got narrow shoulders, so prefer a chest strap even if it makes me look silly. Any other recommendations? Please?

An Osprey Talon perhaps? I use an Atmos 55 for camping and got a Talon 33 a few months ago as a daypack. It's great. Amazingly comfortable, a good hip belt and it has a chest strap. It's probably bigger than you need - I wanted to be able to get crampons and winter woolies in - but there is a 22 version. Weighs 700g.

Funny you should mention that -- my husband's just bought one. The shop didn't have a small, so I couldn't test the fit. I have to confess I'd like to go one better, if such is possible: he went for the Talon as one-upmanship on my Atmos!

My week end pack is a 25l Vaude Rock Ultralight Comfort 25, and at less than 350g really a pleasure to walk with.
Price of this pack is also hot (bought mine for around £25)...

Have a look at it!

I've just bought the OMM 25l. Its a little short on me (I'm 5ft9ish) but I didn't want the larger size of the OMM 35 as I'd only fill it with c***

Only used it round town so far.

Initial impressions:-
-nice thin straps-soft and flexible (I find this comfier on the chest)
-adjustable chest belt with ingenious whistle in clip (haven't tried it out mind0
-very handy pockets on hip belt
-has some dwr to bead off rain
-very light

cons found so far
-can get sweaty back (thought my previous packs 'tunnel' to prevent this was just marketing, obviously not)
-would prefer top mesh lid pocket to be inside lid for valuables (so people can't see them and they can't fall out).

How about the Gossamer Gear Mariposa?. Judy Armstrong is using one for her wander around the alps, so it fits at least one girl. Unlike many lightweight packs it comes in different sizes. There's also a Miniposa if the Mariposa is too big. Here's the Gossamer Gear website.

Right... the Vaude looks interesting, especially if it takes a standard Platypus hydration bladder. Although I wouldn't want people to think I had pretensions to climbing! Superkat, thanks for that. I passionately hate a sweaty back, so it requires serious thought. Although it is beautifully light and small. I have to break the habit of carrying field guides, geological hammer, rocks... my knees just don't like it anymore.
The Miniposa would be a great opportunity to go seriously lightweight! Very tempting.
How tragic, the weekend forecast is for rain. An excuse to go shopping rather than walking in the hills? :-)
Thank you!

How about the Lowe alpine rush pack? It won't solve the sweaty back syndrome (though I don't think many lightweight packs have technical back systems) but its very comfortable and approx 700g. My girlfriend is always trying to pinch it as she finds it so comfortable, and she too has a 'noticable bust' as you put it!

I am considering buying the Iso. I already have a Z Pack and the pack has been excellent. Also saw TGO's review of the pack and it looks great. I think there is some sort of back system with the Talon but the Gregory is lighter and has loads of pockets....need to find a stockist now.

According to info online the Talon 22 is about the same weight as the Iso (about 700g). It's on my list because of the relatively low weight, although the OMM25l is lighter. If you google 'Gregory Iso pack UK' you'll get several places selling it online; if you leave 'UK' off you'll be depressed by how much cheaper it is in the US!
