Hi all
I have got a PHD Sigma smock, and had the optional hood with it.The hood is pretty basic,no peak etc but when its fitted to the smock it is so loose its next to useless when it on your head in a wind.Despite many emails etc to PHD to ask if they would fit some poppers Ive had no luck, all it needs is some sort of drawstring or couple of poppers fitted.I contacted a company I found on this site on a forum somewhere that fits volume adjusters, but they want something like £25-30...anyway..be gratefull for any help.

Get a hold of any old headband that fixes with velcro and use it outside the hood. All the flapping should cease. When you take it off, you can just tie it round a rucsack strap, or wear it.
