Hey guys anyone know a site or shop in london that sells mixed freeze dried vegies at a reasonable rate? I dont want pre packed meals as that is expensive/boring.Im off to the pyreneese to do the gr11 and dont want to rely on pre pack camping shop food. Also any suggestions on foods to take greatly appreciated, looking at carrying 7 days worth so no tins thanks.

Try one of these "scoop shops" that you get in most big towns. we have managed to get all kinds of stuff from them.

Why carry 7 days worth of food - especially if you are not going to eat all in the first 7 days. You can purchase food on route every 2 or 3 days at the most. Live off fresh bread, fruit, cheese and sausage, boiling only tea/coffee and then eat out when you can or cook proper straight after provisioning..

They don't seem to do veg in 'domestic' sized packets, but we buy freeze dried fruit from Commercial Freeze Dry in Preston - their delivery is normally pretty quick once ordered and our 7 year old loves 'Astronaut Strawberries'!

I would agree with Peter Wells, though (admittedly without checking what provisioning opportunities exist on your proposed walk).

Travel light, travel happier.

Obviously i wont carry 7 days of food on all legs but as far as i understodd it that gr11 was a lot less likely to have chances for provisions.
Also as a vegetarian its not so easy to eat out.

Tesco do dried tomato's, peppers, mushrooms etc and croutons are useful too, not always in obvious places but they do have them in most stores.
