Second fleece

Hi folks,

I've currently got a lightweight fleece - the Lowe Alpine Zeitgeist and am looking to buy a second fleece for the hills to prepare for the winter.  I tend to run pretty hot so i was thinking about buying a second 100 weight fleece to wear on top,  maybe the haglof Gemini Hood (which got best in test in the latest trail mag) or the ME Shroud jacket.  Does anyone have any experience with these jackets?  Or maybe I should go for a thicker windproof to wear with out the thinner layer underneath?

There are so many different options to choose from its difficult to know which way to go.

Thoughts.... Suggestions.....

How do people solve their mid layer problems?

Thanks in advance for replies

thought about a Primaloft gilet? Very light, very warm, windproofing for the torso for minimum extra weight?

I have the Berghaus Infinity Light Gilet which I love, and it is just about big enough to wear over a micro-fleece (I didn't have any choice in the size as my review explains).

If you have on microfleece already then I'd go with something cosy like this (or other Primaloft or Polarguard items) to keep out the cold when you stop.
