Is there anything like a wide mouth flask on the market that will keep food warm?

Not talking about soup, an ordinary flask will do that job.

Talking about a really good product that will keep a meal nice and warm/hot, like a stew or a curry.

ive got an old food flask, as you say for stews etc. good for about 6hrs.

mines made by alladin and is foam&glass unsulated. about half a pint in size.  i dont use it often.

I've got a Stanley stainless steel wide neck flask.  I usually put chilli and rice in mine, certainly good for about 6hrs.

Aldi have been selling a plastic stanley flask for about four quid you just pop your food in microwave it screw the lid on and off you go spoon built into the lid as well keeps things hot/warm for about six hours its ideal for days out

Another option would be to take a lightweight stove and pan. Breaking out the stove adds a bit of extra interest to a walk I find.

and you can get these from lakeland and blacks and can be frozen or heated - they are like sheets of plastic. i havent used them hot but they are pretty good for keeping foor cold.
