Hi Everyone,

I'm after some help with gaiters, my old ones have eventually given up the ghost!! I wear Meindl Air Revolution 2's and as the lacing comes down the boot a long way my existing gaiters were snug to say the least (prob led to their demise!) Does anyone out there know of a wide ankled gaiter that would fit the Meindl's or what do others wear with theirs?

Any help would bne greatly appreciated.

 Many Thanks              Doug

Doug have not got meindl boots, but I have got a pair of paramo gaiters and I swear by them and they would be worth trying. They are not the cheapest, but they are strong, very breathable and easy to fit. if they fit that is. ps I use mine with scarpa zg65 at the moment.

I use MH Ventigaiters.  No zip, just a velcro front clsure, which makes them very flexible in exactly how they fasten around the boot (I use them on plastic telemark boots as they let me get at the buckles without buggering about with zips).

Easier to put on and take off, and as the name suggests a big zip-out vent too.  Very good bit of kit IMHO, and they come in multiple sizes.

 Pete.
