hahahaha, great poem. dont forget these XM's only come in orange or green...new peom please. encore encore.

My best effort is:

orange or green, orange or green,

buy them both and dont be mean!

orange spork left, green spork right,

rip open the bag, and have a food fight

Coat on, heading for the door!

There are strange things done in the midnight sun by the men who use a spoon.

Lake District trials have their secret tales, you'll be lost in the mist pretty soon.

Those Blencathra nights have seen queer sights.

But the queerest they ever did see,

Was that night with a spork instead of a fork,  I ate fish and chips for tea.

Just my split personality  and where I'm from. Sorry old chap. No offence was meant and now one has to think about turning in as the hour is getting late.

Finally a thread I haven't stopped dead in its tracks by joining.  I can't believe it I'm so happy.  guess this means I'm no longer Thread Killer

Couldn't decide on the spork colour, went and asked Mrs Killer to choose as a surprise for Christmas.  She called me a sad you-know-what and now I'm sporkless probably for all time due to my own indecisiveness.

Oh well back to work

Hmmmm thread killer, so thats your game eh! I just assumed that you had homicidal tendencies towards made-made or natural sewing yarns!

Give it up now man, or you will just end up all knotted inside

Have just got one of the new sporks......Gold.....

.

Well it is certainly bigger, but much fatter as well. I feel a little disapointed really. I expected something like my old spork - just longer.....

Oh - they do a super huge one as well. <Laughs out loud in Sid james fashion>

Fossil Bluff

I to, felt that the larger sporks spoon bowl was a bit too large in use, so I reduced it in size, and now it's just about perfect.

I placed one of my old sporks over the new type, and centred up the bowl (convex side up) over the larger bowl of the spork XM. I then drew around the smaller bowl with a marker pen, so that I was left with the pattern of the original size marked onto the bottom of the spork XM's bowl. After this I simply sanded (with a power tool and fine grit glasspaper) the larger bowl down to size. It is a very easy plastic to work with, and left a very good finish. Finally I "rounded" the edges of the bowl, by spraping them with a craft knife.

Voila.. a new longer spork, with the original size spoon on it, for chaps with delicate mouths just like me

.

I took me a contract to get myself one the new fangled spork, for carrot, sausage, chicken and rice, and often cassoroled pork.

I signed for the utensil in red coloured pencil. But it appears to me to be fat!

So I paid my two quid and out of the shop I then slid, feeling a bit of a twat.

.

Appologies to the memory of Robert Service

.

Edit: Ray thanks for the advice, I dedicate this poem to your diligence in the art or sporkism .
