Goretex gaiters for kids?
who makes them?

Been looking for a while for some quality goretex gaiters for my Minimountaineers (size 37 boots)

I have tried several "waterproof" pairs from manufacturers but the just do not seem to fit the boot properly and are a tad high up the legs for the kids.

Cheers in advance

What about one of the Trekmates ankle gaiters like the Windermere or Wasdale. You can pinch them when the kids aren't using them - all you really need if you have waterproof trousers on. Trekmates also do a decent looking kids gaiter but it isn't goretex.

ALS I have tried the "ankle Gaiter" but the way in which it comes round the cuff of the boot and attatches to the lace is too big a diameter for them to work well.

Will have a look at the trekmate version cheers.

Might not be the right age or size, not sure but have a look at little trekkers Gaiters.

Cruxster Man - how about the Rab Hispar gaiter from needlesports then - it says it comes in a childs size, and is fancy eVent. There's a Rab dolomite too. And Outdoor Research do a Crocodile gaiter in lots of sizes - the Small goes down to a size 35. I've used the crocodiles myself - they are really close fitting and good. Because they don't have a zip, they are easy to velcro snug to your leg.

Drew, if it's size 37, I'd have thought small ladies gaiters might do ok.

I bought my eldest (then 7) a pair of small Lowe Alpine gaiters - they were a wee bit big, but not overly so. By age 9 they fitted perfectly.
