I recently bought a pair of walking boots that have sympatex lining, one piece leather construction, Vibram sole, Speed lacing/locking ect.

Waterproof . removable inner sole .

These boots are one of the most comfortable i have ever worn and the cheapest and the spec is unbelievable for the price.

Can anyone guess what boots i am talking about ?

A pair of Pavers hiking boots.  £34

comfortable, well padded , of course they need a new insole but don't most boots.

and best of all since wearing them .....no blisters

Sympatex lining suggests maybe Hi Tec Sierra V Lite-II?

(though they now use eVent lining)

Hey there PK, you could have kept us guessing a bit longer y'know! I never even got my guess in before you spilt the beans on the boot brand here!I thought they were something like wellie boots too though Parky!I thought it were a bit of a trick question too perhaps maybe!

Sorry Trevor but i thought keeping these a secret much longer wasn't fair.

Big value for these boots as i have been looking for a while for a decent pair of walking boots and when i saw these at this price i thought worth a try.

Never been happier as they are the dogs nuts   for the price and just as good as some of the best.

Keep you posted if they last though....

Have you got, by any chance, a link to share from the place you bought them at all, so we can all look at a picture or specs or something please? It is not a brand that I have ever really heard of anywhere from memory, you see!

I bought these boots @ Freeport in Castleford, West Yorks at the Pavers shop

They must sell them seasonally as there dont seem to many around at the moment.

Righto there PebbleKicker! I see, that the Pavers name then is not a retail brand but just the business name under which various makes of outdoors boots are there being retailed!A good selection there to be sure! Thanks for sharing the link here on the OM forum!

edit - Quite interesting to see they have lots of branches nationwide, as I have never heard of them, I am sure till now! Amazed to see Pierre Cardin walking boots being sold there too! I had not realised they had jumped on the outdoors clothing band-wagon as well now! Still it should not surprise me these days maybe, I suppose!

It may well be that you got in there in the nick of time for your boots PK, as they seem to be selling off at discounted prices, all of the last autumn and winter fotwear stocks ranges right now! Raichle are a good outdoors boots make though, you are right!I like the Scout boot especially! This outfit-now back trading again-are good stockists of that type of boots make!
