Was thinking of replacing our two man Vango dome tent with a tunnel for a bit of Spring or Summer car camping. This model looks a bit of a gift - anyone out there got one, used it and have a review for it? I've always found Vangos to be pretty well made in the past.
Looking at tents for car camping I've come to the conclusion that the Vangos indeed look to be good value.
But if the car's taking the strain, why not get one you can stand up in? Still available at Sensible amounts of money from various folk, Vango included, and it has to make a useful comfort difference... Though the price tag on, say, a Vango Albany isn't huge it is quite a bit more than a Beta, but I think in real terms the ability to stand up and walk around is something well worth spending the extra on.
it is a cracking tent i paid £80 for it and that is great value as soon as i got it i went out camping for the weekend it only took 20 mins to put up and for the size of it that is good.
It tipped it down the first night and was really windy but the tent stood up to it brilliantly and did not leak and was stable .
The porch is a great bonus for keeping equipment in and the windows let in a sufficent ammount of light.
Go for the 450 not the 250 because it is better value and gives more head space i am 1.65m and just slighlt bend my neck to stand up
