Just caught up with this thread,I have been using Bogtrotters for years and find them ideal on muddy field paths,clarty farm yards and ,surpisingly, bogtrotting on the local moors.They do get a bit sweaty in warm weather but maybe that is the time to switch back to trail shoes.A word of warnig to anyone wishing to use them,be prepared for funny looks from "proper" walkers in "proper" boots
