has anyone else seen the new Duter web site http://www.deutergb.co.uk

It's got the entire range of Deuter Rucksacks on it and there is a great competition.

It's well worth a visit. I didn't realise that Deuter Rucksacks were 110 years old ! That's an amazing history and heritage.

Gerry

I just recently bought a Deuter ACT Trail 32 to replace my old Vango Air rucksac. I intended to buy an Osprey after reading various reviews, but in the shop with the two side x side, the Deuter stood head and shoulders in front in the comfort, adjustability and build quality. I'm very happy with it so far.

It's a brand I've been aware of for years without looking too closely at it until recently. I was looking for a multi-purpose daysack around 30 litres to replace an excellent but ailing Gregory Juxt. After a bit of digging and seeing a couple of good user reviews, I took a punt on an online purchase of the Deuter Pace 30. So far it's been out on 5 or 6 day trips and it seems excellent - lots of nice useful features, no gimics, good construction, and very comfortable. I'm hoping to get a lot more use out of it this coming winter.

My standard day pack is a Deuter Act Trail 32 and have been very happy with it for the last 5/6 months. Got it from Field&Trek for £20 in a "Sale"!

Bedouin, I'm going to have a hard time digesting my tea now, knowing that you paid 20 quid for your bag when I paid £81 for mine just last month

Both my winter and summer backpacking packs are Deuter - very pleased with them both, and they're comfortable partly because they've got good back length adjustment.

Got a DS alpine 30 a few years back, wasn't cheap though, so i'm glad its excellent and waterproof. Superb build quality and features and really comfy.
