Been looking at something like this for a few weeks time:

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_162474_langId_-1_categoryId_31306

Anyone know of anything cheaper and similar about please?

I'm happy to get this one if you think it's as good/cheap as any other

Thanks,

Nick

Gelert do some stuff like that too I think. Various stockists from Halfords to basic outdoors camping and hardware stores sell them.Try Argos and Woolies too even maybe.Argos link here. They are all much of a basic muchness, these products really, generally speaking.

Coleman petrol stove is a double burner stove with a good reputation, I reccomend it too.

My family have used this one for about 10 years now. It works, and looks like it will continue to work for quite a while.

I doubt there is much to choose between the brands as they're quite simple bits of kit. We have found that we very rarely use the grill (like maybe once). It singes your arm hair when you light it and it just isn't all that useful - camping means BBQ if we're cooking big bits of meat.

A tip about the gas: Try to get hold of a second-hand canister as it will save you money. If you buy a sparkly brand new one, when you take it back for a refill they'll give you a scummy rusty one anyway, and the gas is all the same!

The SunnGas Duo (pictured above) and the Primus Twin (below) are available for about £30 and take the same gas cartridges as most lightweight backpacking stoves. The Primus one is available from Outdoor Warehouse in Windermere (and last time I called in there, it was on display).

That's great!

Plenty to be getting on with there then!

The Argos one for example...what gas cylinders would that take?

 Cheers.

Yes you're right thank you...I have a 907 I think in the garage.

Thank you once again for being so helpful
