Lightweight gas trekking stoves

I'm concerned that this may have been done before, but can't find the precise advice on OM.

I'm looking for a lightweight, preferably low profile, gas trekking stove that will at least work with a range of self-sealing cartridges including camping gaz as I will have to source the canisters outside the UK (eg in the Pyrenees).  Better still if it would also work with the pierce cartridges which are widely available.  Use: heating water for freeze dried food packs and coffee bags below 3000m.  Is the MSR Superfly the main choice?

Trail mag has just done a review this month, but often their stuff omits, for me, some crucial info, like how easy it is to obtain cartridges, and the total time a cartridge lasts on a particular stove.

Thanks

Zibro do a compact stove with a ceramic burner.  The design is squat and the ceramic burner is wind resistant.  It is refilled using lighter gas which is universal and dirt cheap.  Each refill burns for 45mins and you get around 12 refills from a large can of lighter gas.

As far as I know, the MSR Superfly is the only stove that will take both regular screw-on and Camping Gaz CV270 resealable cartridges "as is".

Your other option is a stove for a standard screw-on cartridge, with adapters for other types of cartridge.

£18 for pierce cartridges

£10 for CV270 cartridges

Note that the Superfly won't work with the piercable cartridge adapter.

Thanks for the information - much appreciated.
