Alpkit. You won't be using it in extreme temps, so the quality doesn't have to be as good as a full expo bag. It is also cheaper, but will weigh more. (Alpkit don't have the collars or baffles to the same standard as PHD.)

There's a light'n'cheap summer down bag in the PHD bargain bin right now.

Bit too light Mike im really after something for winter use on the moors. or in colder conditions i can add some insulation with a down/insulating jacket, so as to keep the weight down.

if you want something for colder weather, look at the ME Helium 800 i mentioned earlier.

i have not long got the cumulus mysterious traveller 650 and i am well impressed with it.i got it cheap from a shop in liverpool and delivery was 3 days and they were very helpful.heres the link.your bag is also on offer.

950gms for a -10 comfort bag isn't that heavy and at £130 could be considered a bit of a bargain.
