Unless I was using it incorrectly....
Stay away.

You get bubbles when you suck and the straw comes off the bottle. Not what you want when it's inside your rucksack.

Anyone out there managed to use them ok?
If so, tell me how to use them

What a waste of £15
I only used the hydration straw once with my sigg bottle it tastes so much of plastic unlike the Platypus ones which taste ok. Also the bite valve split. A total rip off I will avoid it at all costs. Do you think I could take it back or should I write to sigg.

I'm amazed. Sigg stuff is normally really good. I was thinking of getting one of these - but hmmmm ...

Chris - I'd take it back to the shop if I were you.

I looked at these before I bought my Platy. They look like an afterthought rather than a designed hydration system. After all, Sigg have to respond to the competition (from Platy & Camelbak).

Still use the Sigg bottles tho'. they can't be beat.

just my £.02 worth.

If anyone's in the process of buying a hydration system, I have to say that the Camelbak Omega with the Ergo valve and lock off is superb. Bets I've used for convenience, great flow rate and you can switch it off, so no more sitting in damp puddles by mistake.

Seconded.

If you get the "Unbottle" it comes with a cover that insulates it too.

Very good.

I use the sigg system conected to a one litre bottle in the summer when using my bumbag. I have never had any problems with it. The bite valve isn't as good as the platy but it doesn't dribble.

I like the "Related Categories" at the top, does this mean you can use it as a pee bottle?

I think that the reason that so many bubbles appear in the tube is that because the sigg doesnt compress(like camelbaks and platys) it has to let the air back an.

Not really a scientific proof, but its what i reckon.
oh, and not worth £15, get an unbottle for 20
