Front "bum" bag?
Any idea if such a thing is available?

The ones i highlited have many attaching methods, including vertical straps for feeding a waistbelt through. You could cut off the bits you don't need. Ron at MLD would probably be happy to make them to your spec. As i said, lots of US manufacturers make them.

The OMM Ultra waist pouch does fit on the front, you tuck its waist belt into the tunnel pocket. You can also put your rucksack waist belt though the same pocket or use the attchment points. I've just been out with it and it's rather nice.

I've got the MLD stuff that Mike mentions, the bottle pocket in particular is very good, and I like the wee rucksack harness pouch. Their chest pouch is a bit rubbish though.

Thanks I will take a look at all of these. Have a great weekend.

Dawn , good luck if you can find something ready made that fits your needs you can always do some mods with some webbing and buckles to make a pouch that fits on to your pack.

As for supporting small makers, being a workshop of one person I'm all for it I do sell a lot of gear to the UK, though it can be easier if you have someone close by you.

Dawn, I use an Inov-8 Race Pro 4 back to front with a rucksack and it's very comfortable as the buckle is to one side.
