I'm looking fgr a pair of RED gore tex gaiters.  Everywhere sells black, blue, even green but I'm looing for red.

My wife "needs" to be colour co-ordinated and I can find any in any shop or on any web site.

I Know they are made as I've seen people wearing them.

Can anyone help?

Berghaus make a pair of red gaiters, they are the yeti extrem gaiters.  I have a pair of these and they really are excellent.  You  need to ensure your wifes boots are at least B2 or they won't fit.  Also they are a bit of a hassle to get on so i would leave them on your boots for a season, don't bother taking them off.  You can find more information on them here.

NO Mark, just stop it now, you are just one step away from wearing matching cagoules and being ostresized by polite society.

(even the most expensive of gore tex shell jackets becomes a plane old cagoule when its one of a matching pair)

Don't wear them in LA, as the gang members there will probably think you are one of the Bloods gang! One tourist chap there a few years ago was gunned down by the rival Crips gang, for apparently just sporting red socks and a red baseball cap, in the wrong place at the wrong time!As for out on the hill though, is there a right time at all for wearing the colour red? I don't think so!

Dont worry Monkey Space Pilot - she's co-ordinating with her own jacket, not me.  That will be the day when me and wifey are co-ordinated, in any way whatsoever.

I'm not into the "happy loving couples" his n hers clothing.  OK for those fashion victims who don't leave the safety of the High Street, (no not the hill in the Lakes), but not really something I subscribe to.

In any event I wouldn't be seen dead in some of the colours my arty wife wears.
