I do believe that there is a clip in the lid pocket that you can clip your keys to. I got the pack for Christmas and found it excellent. Do you think you could hike 3 days with this pack carrying all your gear? I would quite like to try it this summer. NE ideas/tips?

As long as you pack very lightweight then it should b alright in the summer. But in the winter the stuff just wont fit into it. I find mine is really thin becasue of the Freeflow bit. All I use mine for is day hikes and night hikes.

Not being totaly, negative with regards to the sac,i had a 35 and if you are planning on doing 3xdays /nights out,i would have thought that some of the planning factors to concider, were the type of area, ground, distance, and any advance weather forecast.would this then require you to pack clothing, rations, incl burner, water?,bivi kit, doss bag,it goes on,if so?.THE QUESTION IS,WILL IT PACK DOWN.

Depends on your choice of accomodation doesn't it...

In a B&B or a "posh hostel" then you won't need any sleeping bags, bivvi or tent OR burners and food. You could probably be able to buy pack-ups for lunches each day so, well, yes back packing with a 35L bag is possible.

Clothing - think silver impregnated base layers - only need one of them say a Berghaus X-Static top, (ok maybe 3 pairs of grundys though) - two pair of shorts or even a pair of zip off trousers. Easily packable and not a lot of space for them.

A fleece? A Sprayway Huggy 100 is small, light, warm and packable without any problems...

Waterproofs? A complete set of Paclite will pack down small AND not weigh a lot.

I reckon that the biggest items of clothing you'd have to worry about would be your socks!
