Ordered a Travel Tap from Bob monday and arrived Tuesday.

Completely disgusting and left a terrible taste in my mouth, so disappointing!

(The sour skittles that is, not the service or the product which were superb)

They are awful aren't they?

I think Bob should really take notice of his customers and change from the sours to the other types of skittles. Afterall I deliberately kept them to eat when I used the honey stove I bought and then imagine my disappointment when I eventually ate them. If it hadn't been for the excellent Honey stove '09 model burning away nicely it might have ruined my trip.

Gift horse .....

Mouth ....

Never .....

You were lucky. You could have been one of those who had a packet of easter eggs in the box. Thank goodness you weren't, otherwise the talk of chocolate stains would be too much to bear .....

What's that Parky? Is Bob sending some eggs with purcahses? In that case I am getting one of these filter bottles just for that.

I received a small box of chocolate eggs with the GoLite Pinnacle that arrived yesterday. Hope to be enjoying both eggs and (incredibly lightweight) sack over the Easter weekend. Thanks Bob. Now just umming and aahing over whether to order a Travel Tap ...

Bob, just a quick note, whilst I like Easter eggs I am one of those please people who prefer sour sweets.

Im looking to get a Drinksafe product for my trip to Nepal and India next month but have one final query before I order:

What are the reasons for choosing the Travel Tap over the Explorer Canteen?

As far as I can see, the only real difference between the two is the capacity (that and the explorer canteen looks a bit military), but it is cheaper. Im thinking that I might prefer the extra capacity. What are your thoughts?

the canteen is easier to squeeze than the bottle and can be used by itself if needed. that's about it really.

the canteen is thinner plastic and easier to squeeze.
