Hiya,

Looking to take the family away camping this summer for some campsite camping (Credit crunch and all...) and I have used Vango tents in the past with DofE and I found them good quality.

After spending a few hours trawling the net I saw this offer - is it too good to turn down???

Basically I pay for a £99 tent and I get 2 nitestar sleeping bags free which would save me having to spend more money on sleeping bags.  Anybody used the Apollo 500 and can recommend it?

Any comments would be appreciated....

Its bloody heavy! Might not be too much of a problem if you are just car camping. Not used that model of Vango but have found them of good quality. Still got one that must be 15 years old now.

If you only plan to drag that thing around in your car, fine by me.  I agree with nr. 6, a bit heavy, it's certainly very heavy for a tent with only one inner tent. 

Will definately be back of the car camping given the age of the young ones....and the porch area will help with them if the weather is poor.
