Hi does anybody know where I can get the smallest, lightest emergency survival bag?

Incy little survival bag from Adventure Medical. Don't know if it's the smallest, lightest, or if this is the cheapest price. But it's the smallest, lightest one I could find last year when I wanted to downsize my orange bag.

Thanks Kate, 3.8 ounces is about 100g, that is light, best I've come across thanks

From the ad. above:

"This bivvy bag will reflect up to 90% of your body heat back to your body keeping it warm when needed."

Is that true?

could well be, I've seen blizzard bags that look similar to the inside of the picture, it is basically a space blanket with an orange outer so it's more visable so yup I'd think the 90% heat reflection is true. BUT it forgets to mention that it means radiant heat of which there isn't the greatest amount, usually lost through conduction, convection evaporation etc. Reflects 90% of radiant body heat back and i'd say it's a fair comment (Sorry for the rambling way of saying that)

Yeah, that's what I thought.  So what proportion of body heat loss is in the form of radiant heat?  Unless it is 100% the advertisers claim is bolx.

Apparently "in comfortable environments about 65% is lost through radiant heat" so says  this website 90% of 65% i make to be  58.5% which is far from their implied 90%, still a good amount. I will also point out that this is with no clothes to absorb the radiation, doubt you'd be prepared enough to have the bag but no clothes.

I have the same Adveture Medicla Kits emergency bivvy bag (from 7 day shop as well), I haven't used it yet but its light to carry and looks well made.
