I'm looking for some new overtrousers to replace my ripped Marmot PreCip full zip pants. I could get the same again but I want to try something different.
So I'm looking for the following: full side zip ('cos I have size 46 boots and putting them on in a sudden downpour is a pain without full zips) low weight 33" inside leg 34/35" waist good performance in the rain
i'm sure they used to do a full zip overtrouser but i couldn't see it on their website. GWIW i was lucky enough to get them as a present (otherwise the price would have been prohibitive for a poor student such as myself) but they've served me well and it was even economical to get rab to repair them when i holed them last summer
HI Cantab, i agree that if you probabaly looked at life vs cost the rabs are amazing, i really likek event. I have found now though that i am wearing soft shell, geting wet and then drying out. I am one of those walkers who gets really hot, Longsleeve t shirt in scotland in winter!
I would really recomend the decathlon stuff its made by Mammutt and the quiality is great.
If you ring a store see if they can order you the FORCLAZ 900 Waterproof trousers. £99, awesome value, bomber material, kevlar bits, braces, snowgaiters, that zip out lovely!
hi Justin, if you do their size checker you can get the right size. i am a GENUINE 34 waist 32 inside leg and wear a US L EU M or the other way around, have a look at teh site.
ended up getting Sprayway PacLite overtroos from MountainFactor (my wallet has a fatal attraction to their website) 3/4 length zips - can get my size 46 boots in without falling over very light too only £59
