Does anyone know if Charlet Moser Super 12's fit to a Scarpa Manta's nicely?

I'd go to a shop and try it out. Remember the crampon should friction fit the boot without the straps and shouldn't shake off with some pretty vigourous shaking.
I thought Grivel have a kind of marriage with Scarpa but I'm sure CMs would fit too.

Cheers John. This I was aware of, but Snow and Rock have them really cheap atm, and I was thinking of getting in quick like.
We shall have to see...

If you get them mail order that HAVE to take them back even if they are in the sale, if they're cheap enough it'll possibly be worth the potential extra postage.
Si C has issues with CM crampons though, something about the strap ant the heel clip.

This is what I am after. The user-reviews are all very positive, but I wanna know more before I part with my hard-earned, particularly as both the reviews don't mention what boots they were used with either.
(Or am I being negative here? Sorry I won't start all that in this thread too.)

I'll try to explain what he means...
The CM heel clip has the strap running under the fulcrum. this allows the heel clip to be opened in use.
The Grivel heel clip's strap runs through a slot well above the fulcrum and holds it shut.

Anyone know where I can get some extensions/extenders for a pair of Charlet Moser S-12 crampons?
Thanks,
Harold

My first instinct would be to call Needlesports in Keswick (they do mail order, free postage, if you're not nearby). It doesn't look from the webpage like they stock the bars you want, but they're pretty good for carrying or getting hold of spares, and as they do stock some Charlet crampons and spares it would seem likely that they can deal with the UK distributor to source what you want. Otherwise, aren't Charlet part of Petzl now, in which case the UK importer is Lyon Equipment so perhaps a quick email to them asking who stocks the bars or how else to acquire them...

I think The Climbers Shop in Ambleside stock a large range of Petzl & Charlet stuff. Not sure where you're based but you'd probably be quicker driving to Ambleside than waiting for their website to load.
